** Part 2 PLAYWORK IN PRACTICE 01
1.The importance effective administration to the running of a play setting
Consider how admin supports good communication, making sure everyone knows what's happening, when, who's involved, how to get in touch with people, making sure everyone stays safe, what fees or resources are needed.
2, the types of enquiry which are likely to be made and how to deal with this
What's on, how many places for enrolement, if activities are for specific age groups, dates, drop-off & collection times, location, costs, parking, resources from home eg. lunch, drink, suitable clothing.
3. Enguiries which may need to be passed on
Any changes to exiting arrangements, permissions, medications, contact details, complaints, feedback
4. Why it is important to implement access procedures correctly
Access to play is a right, discrimination is unlawful, you would want your setting to operate an inclusive policy so that all children and their families can participate fully.
5. The information which needs to be collected about children and their families and why .
Up to date contact details, permissions - collecting children, trips and outings, medical and dietary needs, religious and cultural requirements
Best wishes xx
