Hi, a warm welcome to the site.
You don't mention which handbook you have so if it helps
pages 123+ of this book on amazon will be useful.
Your workplaces policies for Special Educational Needs, Equal Opportunities and inclusion will help you with this.
Attitudes - how do you feel about including all ethnicities, disabilities, cultures and languages? Do you know how to recognise discrimination and how does your setting expect you to respond or challenge incidents of discrimination.
Page looks at 138 looks at this Also consider how everyone working in the team and in partnership with parents, recognises & respects the individuality of a child, supports their sense of self-worth, belonging and makes them understand how valued they are.
Language and preferred methods of communication: what languages do the children and their families? are these languages understood in the setting? Are children and families living with impairments such as hearing and sight loss supported with sign language, braille and other communication aids
Mobility - physical and financial. Are the fees of the setting affordable to parents in the area, what free places are offered. Can parents get to the setting - do they drive, is their a bus service, are parents only attending in the local area so walk or cycle?
Lack of information/ knowledge of the benefits of children's services
How does the setting make sure prospective parents know they offer an inclusive service, what languages do they advertise in, what links do they have with the community?
Evironmental barriers - is everyone able to use the setting, can colleagues, parents and children living with disabilities access the building? Stairs, hearing loops, wider corridors, ramps?
Hope this helps a little xx
