Default Indoor keep fit ideas please

So far I've got....
hop like a frog; waddle like a duck; sway like a tree; dance like a snowflake; buzz around like a bee.... thinking of things we can do to keep fit indoors where I can download a simple picture, put the instructions on it and laminate as action cards
Any other ideas gratefully received !!
Thanks Sarah x

How about doing exagerated movements to nursery rhymes....my son loves it when we act silly and over the top!

or tape boogie beebies and have a mini motivator session? hahaha

I was going to suggest Boogie Babies too, try the cBeebies website for ideas. My son is always doing the 'tail swish' etc.

You could have a zoo theme, waddled like a penguin, sway your trunk like an elephant, slither like a snake.........

children in our setting adore Action raps http://www.educationalpublications.c...SBN=C1P-ACT-CD

they tell you the actions very clearly and they can participate on their own or really love you doing it too. had to warn parents though as they are repetitive and a bit different to the usual stuff.

Also use other stuff from here, keeping the beat is good, nursery rhyme in rap form!:jump:
