Hi, you'll need to ask for another copy xx

This guidance is a quote from page 221 of the STL level 3 handbook

If you are supporting pupil's numeracy development, you will need to be aware of your responsibilities under your school's mathematics or numeracy policy. This will outline your school's approach to the teaching of different aspects of maths as defined by local and national guidelines. It is likely that your school policy will identify how numeracy is taught throughout the school and how standards are monitored and assessed. You should also make sure you are up to date with latest national developments in your home country (England, NI, Scotland or Wales) as these are now available online.

Best wishes

Hi,

how did you get on with this one? I'm just starting this Unit so can't offer anything to help you yet. Let me know if you still need help and as soon as I've worked out what I will put I can let you know.

How far through the course are you?

Thank you Mega confused.. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I too am really stuck on this..

I can't find relevant information regarding policies that support the national curriculum, I'm assuming the EYFS policy will be one. But what about through the school from years 1 to 6?

Mega confused, can't even find my schools policies online so have emailed head.

But any help regarding other policies would be brilliant.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You will need your school maths policy to answer this one. The head gave me copies
of ours. It was quite detailed Year by year, so I summarised them into EYFS, Phase 1 and Phase 2. Hopefully your head will reply soon, but give me a shout if you are still stuck.
