we dont have that here

we have birth to 3

3-5

5-14

and 14 - 18

but its about to change and become "a curriculum for excellence" and thats gonna be 3-18 so its same accross the board - and assume 0-3 will stay same here

(scotland)

but then here they are guidelines and not requirements - haha yeah right like that makes a difference though - cos if hmi came in and were teaching something not in the 5-14 could just see thier faces:soapbox: blaaaaa see why i left teaching??!!

Biggrin Yes!

Good news... we had a visit from our EY coordinator today and I was quizzing her about this. Apparently our training for the birth to five curriculum is going to be rolled out from March this year!!! She wasn't sure if we would actually be putting it into practice straight after our training though, we will just have to wait and see.

Is it the same in all areas of the UK? Didn't know Scotland weren't getting it. Apparently its going to be a change for the better..... time will tell!!!!!!

Will keep you posted.
