i am struggling with what happens if good relationships are severed or non existent

Think about a complete stranger
Once a relationship has broken down or is non existent they are a complete stranger to you
No communication
No trust
No expectations
for severed relationship you also have hurt, possible disrespect depending on reason for break down and mixed emotions you may still care for them but you are still mad about situation.
