Hi, 'be able' is an observered criteria xx Check to see if this is something your assessor will witness next time there's a visit.
Recognising value is about how you promote and share information about issues -
sustained shared thinking
Maybe think about your view on different health aspects and if you feel you are positive, negative, dismissive, enthusiastic about them and then with a personal perspective aside how you continue to recognise the value of why health needs & meeting them is important - your professional responsibility, and then how you're able to respond to health needs; which might be you being pleased a child tells you they like a food they previously disliked, informing colleagues about new food information, organising the environment to ensure all children can participate in an activity, being enthusiastic about a toothbrushing story time :), assisitng a child with their transition from potty to toilet & wiping techniques.
Meeting health needs will depend on the development and age of the individuals you've contact with.
Health issues include:
handwashing & general hygiene
dental awareness
toileting independence
hair care
eye care
sleep, rest and activity
immunisation
dietary needs
disability, mobility & access needs
Sexual health
Tattoo and piercings
Alchohol, drugs, smoking
Relationship health & freedom from all types of abuse
