Hi, I think it is basically asking what training needs your colleagues have got in order to fulfil their work roles, and how you identify these eg do you keep a record of the qualifications your colleagues have and what training courses they have attended? Or have appraisals to identify continuing professional development needs eg are the staff trained in Safeguarding Children, ICT trained etc?

An example I would give is that I am not currently first aid trained so that is a learning need of mine, my line manager is aware of this and has booked me onto the next available course. Another example would be a Keyworker who is looking after a new child with speech and language difficulties may need to learn sign language (makaton).

Hope this makes sense
