personally it depends on the nursery , i am currently working with pre-school and we implement the EYFS and have a teacher visit us from the Councils Early Years Entitlement once a week. It has a beneficial factor to the nursery as each parent is given 10 hrs a week free for the term after the childs 3rd birthday. This is approx £245 off the average nursery bill for the term so big plus for parents. however with regard to implement it - i personally think it belongs in a school - a because a school will have a set budget to enable resources to be implemented. B. Parents what care of their child and i have been questioned that it is too much a school environment too soon.

it is alot of paperwork on top of daily diaries. Whilst i consider it is learning through play it can also become too structured trying to achieve all that is requested .

Hope this helps in some way
