General question nvq or diploma???

can i just ask pls.. i started my ccld level3 in april this year but according to some of your posts this is being phased out and being replaced by a diploma instead, and the ccld qualification will be useless in a couple of years...could i change to do the diploma instead.
i do my course through assessments via my workplace and dont go to a colleege,my assessor comes to see me every 3/4week even though i havent seen her since july!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, firstly no the nvq will not be useless it will continue to hold the same validity of qualification regardless of the more disparaging posts you may read on here.

The new certificate & dimplomas launched fully from the beginning of this August & September. Up until those points nvq registrations were still openly available and you have two years in which to complete your level xx

If you'd like to find out about making a change ask your provider what your choices are - the main diffference other than unit content is the introduction of GLH guided learning hours where you'll be expected to attend tutoring at college/uni.

Hope this helps
