Why is it important to give all children opportunities to be heard? How do you do this when you are working with groups of children?
(apart from the obvious - turn taking)
children need to know that what they have to say is important and that you are taking them seriously . if you listen to them they will learn to trust you and will then feel able to come to you if they need your assistance
