hi just done this. I put about how induction days help the children get used to the new surroundings. also meeting the teachers and mixing with other new children helps with any anxiety or worries they mave have.Discussing with them what will happen helps prepare them for the big day and also making sure they have everything they need such as uniform and pencils etc. Also some schools give out a brochure about the school which tells them all about the place which the children might like to read. For college or work discuss what type of work or course they want to follow, help them prepare a c.v or get as much information about colleges in your area try and help them set up interviews or speak to careers advice people. hope this helps a bit.
