Hi, a warm welcome to the site. This criteria is asking how you help children understand an activity that is good for their learning. How do you explain it, do children know what is expected of them and is the child's personalised targets or learning goals involved.
You don't mention the type of setting you work in (residential care, school, early years?) but
page 41 of this Support Teaching and Learning level 3 handbook explores strategies such as
creating a positive learning environment
managing behaviour
encouraging groups working together - cohesion and collaboration
prompting shy or reticent pupils
translating or explaining words and phrases
reminding learners of teaching points made by the teacher
modelling correct use of language and vocabulary
ensuring learners understand the learning tasks
helping learners to use resources relevant to the activity
providing individual attention, reassurance and help with learner's needs
modifying or adapting activities
apply those to your placement and the children you work with to see how each child can get the most from learning and accomplish targets that help them reach their potential.
Hope this helps xx
