Default Theme Table

Hi everyone,

Just want to run this past someone,my theme table consists of a pirate ship with small pirates, positive images include a black pirate and a female pirate. My ship rests on some blue material (the sea), on some yellow material (sand) I have shell island. This consists of some shells (sound), a swamp (green gloop, touch), some lavender palm trees (smell) and will include a treasure map with a treasure chest.

Does this sound rubbish?

Just need some feed back

Thanks x

Aah, that sounds lovely! I want to come and play!

You've covered all the senses and it sounds really stimulating. Well done!

There's a lovely book called "Pirate Pete" by Nick Sharratt where the children can choose parts of the story by adding a picture from the choice on each page. Have you seen it?

Sounds fun......you could even add some 'stinky seaweed' if you can get hold of some.
