Default unit 333. Evaluate some of he different methods of reporting concerns about poor practice.

I dont understand this, can someone help please? I have to list five methods of reporting a concern, also the positive and negative of each along with comments on overall effectiveness of method.
Verbally telling colleague I have said positive would be telling someone straight away enables you to get support from another T.A or teacher. Negativity would be that things could be added by this T.A or teacher when they tell someone. I I was also going to to write about written note given directly to head teacher, telephone, email and telling a parent. Could anyone help please.

Hi, looks good :)
Reporting and having concerns acted on is the priority so any eventuality that delays that, enabling poor practice to continue unchallenged is a risk. Do you have a policy or procedure for your setting that shows different ways you could communicate a concern? - whistleblowing, induction information maybe that outlines what's expected of you in discussing concerns with parents.

Possible issues are
Confidentiality breach where infomation is mislaid, passed on inappropriately.
Accuracy of information that helps detail events or where changes to the concern could be made.
Methods that involve delay - busy workload, postal letters, emails, making appointments, uncertainty of who to contact.
Training & confidence of the colleague receiving concerns.
Colleagues able to give support and protection through the sharing of concerns.
Possible worries with anonymity
Policy & procedure followed for any action to be handled lawfully

Hth xx
