Need Help With A Meaning

Hey All,

Please can anyonee help me with what is mean't by 'focussed attention'?
All I keep thinking of is where you have one to one attention with a child, like with reading or writing etc
Please can anyone let me know if I am on the path or totally wrong, if I am wrong can someone help me as that is my only idea.

Thanks all x

Hiya, its not necessarily one to one, it can be the sort of concentration you may experience doing a jigsaw. In reverse it can be providing activities that focus attention. You are completely on the right tracks, reading, writing, where you are helping to focus attention on information and tasks maybe and whiteboard tutoring, demonstrations, shows - where the audience has a focussed attention on the dancers & judges and in turn the dancers have a focused attention on their partner/steps or routine, this would be the same for a circle time activity where the Children have a focussed attention on a puppet and its actions & puppeteer or maybe a show and tell activity ..

I have managed to do this one now, and I now only have 1 more to do before assessor comes on wednesday to give me all of the next parts. I have so much to hand in as she wanted all this part finished by next week, so she can move forward. I just hope I have done it all correctly though as feel like I have had to rush all these bits.
