hi can anyone help me explain how levels of speech and language development vary between children entering early years provision and need to be taken into account during settling in and planning are they asking for reasons such as not being talked to at home not having the chance to interact with others language difficulties english not being first language

Age and stage of development
The amount of stimulation and encouragement they have received
Child's first language or language that's spoken at home
Individual speech, language, communication needs or particular difficulties
