Thank you

Happy Mother's Day to you all. I hope it was a good day.

Today was my very first Mother's Day, it started off well - Tea and Toast with heart-shaped jam followed by cereal. 3 cards, 2 from DS -one being homemade, gifts of Thorntons chocolate heart, a Piggin ornament, a badge, a wobbly head piggy and ferrero rocher.:bouncy: We visited Mother-in-Law and as we were leaving the first disaster stuck!!! :weepy: DD ran away from me and as I grabbed her I scratched her badly on the face, it bled a lot! Well, she screamed and cried as expected, then M-I-L grabbed her and said "Nasty Mammy, let Nana kiss it better"!!!:bomb: That really upset me, but as usual, I let it go! When we got home I discovered that the dog had eaten my chocolate heart.:gnasher: (I got rushed out of the house and forgot to move it!) This was the straw that broke the mammy's back, I rushed upstairs and cried :gloomy: - a lot! DH comes upstairs and asks what's wrong (!!!), when I tell him he says "it's only chocolate!" NO IT'S NOT!!!:talktothe Things got better when I went downstairs and DS had made me lunch - 4 heart-shaped sandwiches pushed point-together with a lettuce heart and half a cherry tomato to make a flower! Happiness returned

I hope everyone had a better day! Well, there's always next year!!
