Hi, I am just being signed off for my level 3 and was wondering where to go next....
I am a parent of 2 (little boy just started school and little girl in nursery not due to go to school for another year)
I started doing my NVQ while I was helping out at a preschool while she was there, I have also been doing another course (enviromental playwork)at my boys school alongside some of the teachers whom I have got to know quite well. I was telling one of the Nursery school teachers (about finishing my NVQ3) who mentioned about me now being qualified to do supply work (which would be great) and has put my name down ready for when my certificate comes through.
I was wondering really does anyone know the difference between doing supply work and being a supply teacher?
Also I love working with children and had never thought about this until doing the NVQ so I am now thinking about doing the level 4 or looking at trying to get into teaching direct through a training programme. Does anyone have any opinions about this situation as I really just 'fell' into this area of career but do absolutely love it and helping the children. thanks in advance of any replies x
