PPEL Project ?

Has anyone taken part/is part of ... or knows more about the Parents as Partners in Early Learning (PPEL) Project ?

This is Leeds Education page which details their involvement with the project but I was curious as to what services will be withdrawn once the pilot scheme ends in March this year? Have any vital services that parents have grown to depend on going to end or is there going to be a roll out of the programme & more funding offered ?

Interested to hear any views on this ..

I looked at this when I was doing the relevant section of my NVQ. It is interesting stuff and has very good quality training materials...

It did make me think about new ways of working with parents, but a lot was geared to settings, rather than Childminders - I'm not going to invite fathers into my setting to run a woodwork class, or anything...
