Default Unit 320 K3D518

Afternoon all,

My brain has gone to sleep and I only have to anwser this and one more question to finish this unit.

The question is
'Why plans for children cared for at home should be reviewed and in what situations they may need to be adapted'

Thanks in advance for any help

Plans for children cared for at home need to be reviewed and updated, I do this every six months as circumstances can change such as a child’s contracted hours/days, the needs of a child may have changed such as dietary needs or they may need more challenging activities or there may delays in their development so activities may need to be adapted or different ones introduced.

hope this helps

the age and stage of the child and their situation will change over time so planning needs to be adapted to individual needs and cercumstances all the time for example at 8months they will be clingy so planning may include activities to help the child seperate but then the child may start to have no fear of strangers so planning may need to concider that. the child may get a new sister or brother and their behaviour may change so plans may need to be done to be changed to help them adapt to the new situation. the childs health may change if a child gets glue ear planning will need to be reviewed and adapted then. hope this helps
