SOS Disclosure of Information legislation

Hi I am working through a work book for the Communication and professional relationships with children and young people and adults that my course provider have given me.

I am nearing the end, but am stuck on 3.1
Summarise the main points of legislation and procedures covering
Confidentiality
Data Protection
Disclosure of Information

I have written things for confidentiality and data protection but have gone blank on the disclosure of information!

Can any one please point me in the right direction?

All I have so far is:
Disclosure Of Information – when information has to be shared with outside agencies, for example when neglect or abuse is suspected.

Thanks

When something is disclosed (told to you) what do you do with that information?

Use what you've already read and written to show how the points of legislation are eg to use the setting's policies and procedures for times when information is disclosed which will involve recording the information accurately, ensure it is stored securely, that it shared only with appropriate people.
