Hi anyone. Could anyone please give me a clue about this knowledge statement. "The requirements of the current curriculum framework" I get that bit that must be the E.Y.F.S. But it's the next bit. What information and resources are required. Does this mean Policies and procedures, welfare requirements, i.e safeguarding stuff, Knowledge of the early learning goals. profiles for each child,and Observations Also having plans for acitivites and learning experiences and assesment arrangements. I am really unsure what it wants.. Thanks reagards. Debbieastan.

I would do as you suggest looking at the eyfs.

Thanks but still not clear about what information and resources? What does it mean. Does it mean Things like policies and procedures, welfare requirements, staffing requirements, written evidence of planning, assessments and observations. Also What planning and implementation arrnagements are required? thank you both very much for trying to help. :-)

Hi I live in wales so wrote about the introduction of the foundation phase in sept. I wrote the ages it coverd and the areas of learning and the goals such as positive attitudes to learning, self esteem and self confidence. Wrote about play being a fundamental part of the phase. The adults role and the enviroment. How we plan and evaluate activities. What the setting needed to put in place to meet the requirments such as equipment (coverd outdoor area, multicultral dolls etc). Also how we observed and recorded childrens development. Hope this helps

A lot of information on this may already be covered in Unit 403, if you have already done it you can cross reference

hi all

Like the other posts i would like some guidance on this,

a yes i understand the question relates to the eyfs - but do you write about each bit as per your optional units as said this question appears quite alot

secondly how do you write about it without using large chunks of copied text from the national strategies website

really confused how to go about this question - have got it in all my optional units 407,410,409


please can somebody throw some light on this many many thanks in advance
