General question CCLD LVL3 K3H302

Hi all, this is my 1st post so here goes, the question is for k3h302 correct disposal of different types of waste according to procedures and why this is required. Am i right in thinking they are asking about the appropriate containers for certain waste products and who and how the waste is disposed of, also the need for ppe to help protect from cross infection. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance mick.

Yes, look at what needs to be disposed of and how it will be done, protective clothing etc..

probably one area to look at is nappies, and disposal of.. etc.
Vomit ... bodily fluids.. cleaning up and disposal of... (How to clean it up, what to wear, how to clean surfaces , where it is disposed )
How to prevent cross infection from same...

Most setting would have a policy on this and if working in one you should be informed of it.. ask?
