Stories to Share!!

Does anyone have any stories to share that make them smile?!

Like the good old days of childminding?

Or any favorite outings or good places you could recommend to others?

'Here you go', said the woman from Social Services, 'here's your contract'.

And she handed me a scrappy bit of paper to photocopy and off I went, house full of happy if slightly mucky children, outings to the park with not a risk assessment in sight!

Ahhh, the good old days

One of my mindees who is no longer here anymore used to come out with classics.

One of the best was related to me by mum on the monday morning that her then 3 yr old son had gone into mummy's room at 3.30am on the Saturday morning and pulled the covers back and said oh its you mummy I want Kate please take me to Kates.

He was distraught when mummy told him that not only would Kate not be happyif he went at that time in the morning but htat it wasn't a Kate DAy and apparently he sulked all day.
