Adults working with children need to provide an environment where children are confident to speakout and share their experiences, where they develop a sense of trust and high self esteem. The point i am trying to get across is that if a child feels good about themselves then they are less likely to suffer abuse as they are more self aware and likely to make a disclosure and know what is normal and what is not.
Not sure if this is what you are looking for, hope it helps
