Default A general questions about NVQ CCLD Level 2

Hiya all,
Would like to know how all your courses are going and abit about how they work?

and any thoughts about a progression to NVQ 3

How much of your course have you completed and when did you start and plan to finish?

Many thanks

cache, the ndna, and the cwdc all recommend that after your level 2 you work for at least a year to embed what you have learnt, to test it out and form your own opinions about theory etc.
very rarely is someone ready to go straight on and usually who think they are flounder and indeed drop out. i have to be very impressed with someone to enrol them straight on.

Hi,
I started the level 2 in Feb and I have 202 & 206 knowledge left to do, but I need to be assessed on quite a bit. The plan by my lecturer is that we finish college at Christmas, then we will have Jan & some of Feb to tie up any lose ends or fill gaps.
I want to go onto level 3 but as this is now not an NVQ and will be the Diploma I am waiting on the college to get the information to tell us what is involved.

I done level 1 at college and within 1 1/2 months of leaving college I was doing my level 2. I've never heard of leaving a year or so before doing next level. I completed level 2 in 2008 and a few months later found myself doing level 3. I managed to complete level 2 in just over a year but had family problems arise so didnt touch it for a month or so.
