Oooh I would like to get lots! I'm thinking of taking the little ones to the garden centre to choose some, hopefully flowery and herby ones. Last year we grew gardeners delight cherry tomatoes[not from seed] and they were fab also butternut squash[frost got them!] and lots of mint would like to do lots of lovely smelling and tasty things this year any ideas welcome

Last year we grew climbing beans but lost quite a few plants when we were on holiday as they dried out.

I am a rubbish gardener, can soemone bump this thread up to remind when its time to plant them

If you can get hold of a 'curry' plant do, it's weird, but fab! Also lemon geraniums smell heavenly when the leaves are squeezed!

Every tired 'spaghetti plants' I think they come from the marrow family... we did them a few years back, with the help of my Dad.. only trouble was they were so successful it was like a scene from the 'invasion of the body snatchers'!! in the end we cooked some and most of the children tried them, we printed with them... in fact.... you name.. it we did it with them ..we had so many of the things!
