Default Outcomes based services????? L5

Please HELP, cant get going with this question?

Critically analyse the move towrds 'outcomes based services' for children and young people and say how your practice reflets this model.

Many Thanks

Hi, if in England you could consider the aim of the EYFS, what personalised care & learning provides, SEF and ofsted inspection criteria you could also look at the uncrc and ecm.

Pages 157+ of this handbook are supportive reading

Hth xx

Ruthierhyme I am in Wales too and does it mean I analyse what outcomes the children are expected to achieve and how we are expected to deliver them

Hi, yes its about knowing the outcomes and what they mean, why others would want the move towards outcome based service, what those who might object are saying, your thoughts on it all and then yes again, how your setting's current practice is delivering or reflecting them :) xx

This quote if from sussex.ac.uk
"Critically analyse the findings
Analysing critically means looking at your findings and asking yourself, 'what do I think about this?', then taking it one step further and asking 'what is making me think that?'"

The brief that's referred to on that page would be this unit's criteria.

There's also good reading on Birmingham university's website - critically analyse

Best wishes xx
