As a useful aid to help with the teaching of geography, history, and citizenship, the European Commission's office in the UK is offering large laminated wall maps (87 x 101cm) to schools in the UK.

The maps have been produced as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the EU and they show all 27 EU Member States as at 1 January 2007.

The maps are free to schools on a first come, first served basis. Schools can order as many as they require but should bear in mind they are not meant for distribution to pupils but to decorate classrooms, corridors etc.
