BTTM birth to three matters

The BtoTM framework was intoduced in 2001 for England and Wales. Other frameworks for standards of care for children under the age of 8 were put in place in England. They were the out-of-school, full day care, childminding, creche care and
sessional care standards.  QCA curriculum guidance for the foundation stage of children's learning ages 3 - 5 had already been introduced in 2000.

In september 2008 England's EYFS early years foundation stage framework brought all these standards
together into one single framework of care, learning and development  which was then superseded by a revised edition in September 2012 - named review panel

Settings in Wales may or maynot of refered to the BTTM framework in 2001/2003, and today, may or maynot still be working with BTTM materials. Finding pack resources on the internet is becoming increasingly difficult so it's hoped these links and downloads will offer support for historical research and current practice.
