Activity: cut up your drinking straws and create
a maze of edges. Glue into place with tape or tack. Use a variety of ping pong balls, beads and marbles that test the maze's strength, width and size,

Bird and folded wings outline template
Resources needed:
sticky
pads - scissors

Activity: cut out the bird body and snip
the wing insertion line. Use the lower wing lines as a guide to folding,
backwards and forwards creating a concertina effect. Slot the folds
through the body until halfway. Then fold them upwards, then each opposite
side downwards. Place a foam oad on each side of the body, attach the
cord ends to each ten press the folds together. Fan out the wings and
hang.

Spiral snail outline template

Activity: design and colour fill the snake
outline and then cut around the spiralling shape. Turn the paper
cut-out into a role play prop by taping a short length of paper under
the head area, wrapping the ends around a finger and then securing them
in place with another piece of tape.
