to all site visitors, please enjoy this rhyme and any safety messages you

hear the story read aloud
Cats and bats and spidery mats
out in the light of the moon
‘They're coming' said a whisper’, ‘I know’ replied a breeze, ‘They'll
be here very soon’.
As the pumpkins wait, the stars shine down, footsteps start to fall.
Knock knock goes the door, ‘Trick or Treat’ comes the call, rustle rustle
of feet big and small.
The hinges creak
open, a nose peeks out, 'Who goes there' booms a roar,
'It's us Mrs neighbour, you know who, we live really close next door'.
'Ahh yes' now a smile, 'I was expecting you, you've dressed up so very
well'!
'Thank you Mrs Neighbour, we’re ghosts can you tell, OoooOoo we yell'.
‘You'd better choose a bag from the bowl
of treats, I don't think I'd like another scare'.
The hands dive in and the gifts disappear, remembering how it's fun to
share.
To all you spooks with a friend and a torch, be safe and be brightly seen.
I hope you find a wonderful time as you wend your way through this Hallow-een.
