A Skeleton bones activity!
A fun, tactile way to learn about the framework inside
our and other animal's bodies.
Invite burying and the digging up of dinosaur skeletons,
excavating bones, roll playdough in dirt, make impressions with dough
cutters and fill the inside space of laminated outline sheets with dough,
collage or colour.
Plan this as an indoor or outdoor adventure and source
resources that help to examine how people's bodies are able to stand
upright and where on the body our skeletal bones enables us to bend.
Support the knowledge with information about what makes
bones strong and healthy - eating and drinking calcium rich foods and vitamin
