Carrot collage!
Plan an encounter
with the colours green and orange, explore textures, tools that make marks
and a yummy root vegetable that can be sliced, diced and cut in batons.

Real carrot activity ideas ..
If possible have bunches of real leafy
carrot vegetables for exploration, cut, slice, dice, peel and
enjoy as a snack food, cook soup or Elephant's
stew
Use tied bunches of carrot leaves as
paintbrushes, dip and markmake on blank paper or pre-drawn carrot
outlines..
Grow your carrot tops by cutting
2cm of the carrot top, trim back any long leaves that are already present
and then waiti to see if new ones appear.
