Quaters, halves and whole
Using bread as a themed cutting activity is a great way to explore the
concept of division, sharing quantities and shape. With child safe knives make real sandwiches in your kitchen
areas and collage with surface designed papers as part of creative craft
activities.

Print the collage papers and use them for cutting,
tearing and collaging areas on the bread slice outlines.
Use scissors to cut up any crafted sandwiches
and serve them up to others.
Discuss sugar, sweetness, energy, healthy food
choices and the quantities of food that our bodies need.
Explore drinking water to help keep our mouths clean after eating.
