Ocean
dolphins paint activity
Blend together blue and white paint blobs with fingerstips or tools
and make a swirl of sea frothy waves. Add dolphin shapes to the wet patterned
surface for creative displays or wait until the paint has dried and use
the art as an ocean floor for small world role play. Live out the life of
dolphins through a range of tactile materails such as paper cutouts or plastic
figures and talk about the different dolphin specie names and their movements,
dive, swim, race and tail swishing in the make-beleive waters. Use numbers
to explore quantity and sequencing.

Maybe create portable oceans, by using the front of paper craft bags as the canvas for your paint
blending and resources that children can use to design their own dolphins.
