Completing units

Hello!

I've been studying for my level 3 eye for a while now, and to be honest, I feel like I'm getting no where. I've been observed 3 times and told I covered everything that needed to be covered, so wouldn't need to do any more. I'm on discussion 7, and am (slowly!) Getting through the paperwork. I'm always told I'm going beyond what Is expected, but still I've only had 1 unit signed off as completed.
I asked for the checking sheet and my tutor has marked off quite a bit, but loads of boxes have 4-5 marks in them but haven't been highlighted as completed. How many bits of evidence do they need? Some things have 2 marks and are marked off.. it's disheartening when you feel like you're working hard but nothing is being signed off..

Hi don't feel disheartened, the need to dust & be done can be somewhat demoralising especially if you're covering more than absolutely necessary xx

Can you formulate a list of the criteria that will complete the units and maybe ask your tutor how they think you're doing?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I just feel like I'm repeating the same bits over and over. I have been given a sheet which shows my completed sub-units etc. I have asked her to set me a sweeper lost where she gathers all the remaining bits that I need to have some units signed off.
I've been at it for a year now and only have until September so the pressure is really on. That and work being full time and manic, it's all quite stressful.

The same bits over and over, are the bits you're doing more than necessary on :) Once you have the list you'll at least see what you've got left to do and can have a sense of accomplishment knowing they'll be completed. 7 more months is a long time to feel stress, you're more than welcome to post here whenever needed x
