The cut in our funding will affect TimeBank's ability to deliver our volunteering help and advice services which ironically is a core function of the Big Society. We know from our ten years experience, that volunteers need a lot of support and guidance in order to have a rewarding experience and make a real difference in their communities. We are concerned that without this support, less people will volunteer in their communities. We expect to have to make some redundancies as a result of this cut in our core funding.
