Zipping the sharing of information: IT - information technology, the compression of files & their contained information - ZIP from wikipedia

Definition of ' Zip it ' - the perhaps more familiar slang words associated with silencing.

I've not seen any resources available for this yet so please feel free to add on with links & any personal or professional experiences/opinions surrounding the use of the phrase.
