We're a small residents association which, despite only having been in existence for 2 years has been making some amazing changes in our little bit of Manchester, turning one of the worst-reputed bits of Moss Side into a genuinely nicer place to live. Because most of our work is done voluntarily we're not seeing job losses but it does seem like the funding pots we've been looking at for projects such as greening wasteland and providing activities for local kids are rapidly disappearing.
