Make a school crossing patrol sign
and decorate a lollipop person
to find out about reflective materials and the people who help us to cross
busy roads.
light reflective resources - snap bracelets & torches on amazon.co.uk
Resources needed
for the SCP stop sign:
Heavy cardboard circle
Cardbord tube for the handle
Stop sign printout onto amber
or yellow paper
Striped handle printout onto amber or
yellow
glue gun
We wanted a tactile feel to our signs so used a mixture of sand, red paint and PVA glue to coat the cardboard circles.
Then attached ripped pieces of red foil and red glitter which reflected the beams of light
made by our 'car headlights' (dynamo powered torches)

Print the inner stop sign onto amber or yellow paper, cut
out and stick to the centre of the red card.

Make the handle by printing the striped
paper to amber/yellow paper and trim.
Wrap around the tube to form the handle and glue/tape it in place.
