Organise your number rhyme by printing the images above, cut out
and if wanted, laminate and trim again.
Play in a small or large group wherever it's most comfortable.
Request volunteers, one as the potion shop's keeper and 10
customers.
Sing or say aloud the rhyme and at the 'along came.. ' line,
invite a customer to come up and exchange their bunch of herbs for a potion.
Count down as the number of bottles diminish with each payment.
Extend the activity to include what the potions might do eg. activate
invisible umbrellas, become a spider for the day, change the colour of
a flower's petals, glow in the dark, grow whiskers, visit the moon, feel
much better soon.
