Bubble wand making Personalise children's bubble blowing activities by providing craft stems and wire for them to twist and wind their own wand. Include beads for designers who want them and tags that can add a name! Alternatively you can ask friends, parents and search online for their unsed wands.   Bubble printing using paint and paper       A great activity is to combine a quantity of bubble solution with coloured paint. 3/4 fill a pot or cup with the mix, insert a drinking straw and gently blow air into the body of the liquid. The resulting mound of frothy, overflowing bubbles makes an excellent medium to take prints from. Place a sheet of white paper over the top of the bubbles, pat down carefully, peel and lift up slowly, and leave to dry. Sucking in and blowing out   Help young children learn about these opposite actions help to make sure their bubble-paint blowing activities stay positive! Have a tray of straws and pieces of tissue paper that focus attention on 'blowing away' and 'sucking in' so the tissue paper sticks to the end of the straw.  For children working towards these skills, small battery and trigger operated blowers  are a perfect way to include everyone wanting a go.
