K3P242 and K3S250 Level 3 Unit 305 promoting children's rights - have I missed anything?
Stuck again - nearly finished my very long essay on knowledge for section 305
running out of ideas, can anuone see what I might of missed? 242 - Planning for childrens needs - available resources (other than Individual file criteria) Support services -- local safaguarding team, NSPCC, counselling or educational psychology services, social services, health visitor, GP, police, SENCo, behavioural management meetings Planning .. -- key worker/person system -- adult deployment enables interaction to support communication -- pplanning activities that promote children's rights -- use of images that are positive - promote being happy, healthy, safe, live in a diverse world where people care, that children are valued, respected and welcome -- attitudes that support and promote children's rights -- working in partnership with parents to promote rights -- discrimination is challenged -- behaviour is managed appropriately using supportive documents/observations that identify triggers or antecedant behaviours in order to mitigate the risk of the behaviour occuring again - use of proactive and reactive strategies 250 - Child abuse - importance of empowerment, confidence and resilience for a childs welfare -- for children to protect themselves -- to be aware they have a right not to be harmed -- to know there are people who will help -- to find help -- to remove themselves from dangerous situations -- confidence in disclosing information UNCRC links Smacking Shouting Scolding or telling off Abuse - physical, emotional, sexual, neglect Level 3 book preview and on Amazon Nearly finished - would love to come home from work and watch TV for a change!!!!!!!!! |
