Can anyone help please:

Give an explanation of how different approaches to work with children in early years have affected current provision in the UK.To include Social Pedagogy and two other approaches e.g:

Reggio Emilia
Maria Montessori
Rudolph Steiner
High/Scope
Te Whariki

there is no easy day round this other than to do some intensive reading, if you haven't got the books there is loads ion the web but get cracking it will take ages. you need to understand the approaches to write about them

ps i would choose highscope and emilia they re the easiest to connect to the eyes

Take a look at your support systems. Are you at college, in any study group, have a helpful setting? and how can you get some handbooks to guide exactly what you need to do? There is so much online it can be incredibly overwhelming xx please take it slowly.

Highscope is an American approach with many years of research into its effectiveness - about they have a plan, do, review philosophy along with adult-child interaction and active learning.

A little like how Englands eyfs (2008) requests practitioners to know how their planning happens - planning cylce, provide children with adult support - eyfs 'positive relationships:-2.3 supporting learning, and being active, participating and experiencing all the activies that a setting has the ability to offer.

Reggio Emillia is an approach to children's education and care that began in Italy after the second world war. It is community in action. Expecting and inviting parents to be active in policy discussions for the setting, planning and evaluation - which reflects in our parents as partners approach.
