I'm stuck on explaining children's communication needs from 0-5, 5-11,11-16 and 16-19. I've been sitting looking at it for so long and cannot put my answer into words!

The ages and stage on talkingpoint will help, your early years framework eg. for England's there's information in EYFS about children's communication and language needs, development matters and page 85 of the Cache level 3 handbook is also useful reading.
