sch 34 3.1 how to respond to complaints.

Hello.

i am new to this site, and im finding it exstremly usefull and happier knowing other people are in the same boat as me.

i am slowly making my way through the units. i unfortunatly did study my level years ago but then had my daughter prematurly and did not complete. i am now going through the whole thing again but it is so different from when i did it. alot of in work observing and less written.

please could anyone please give a brain a jump start and help me to start this unit. its frazzled from all the baby talk lol

many thanks.:dizzy:

Your work setting should have a complaints policy as it will be different for each setting. I read the policy and wrote a bit on it, then my line manager asked me questions and wrote my answers as part of an observation to sign this criteria off.

How to respond:
Listening
Respecting
Professional
Giving them time to talk and a confidential place to talk.
etc

Hi, a warm welcome to the site xx

Good advice given, the search page will also help find other threads already made on the forum, enter words from the assessment criteria to look.
