Hi guys.
I am really stuck on this question, I have emailed my tutor but she has not got back to me... this is the only question I have not answered on the learning outcome!

the question is ..
Apply additional needs legislation, regulation and codes of practice to own practice?

any help is appreciated hugely guys. Thank you :banghead:

Hi it means for you to know send 2014 so that you can apply its codes, and see how you already apply them to what you do every day in your setting.

Regulation involves your home nations EY framework eg. England's EYFS

Legislation includes the Children and families act 2014, Equality act and UNCRC

Is SEND applied in nursery's ? x

Hi, it's applied through the EYFS requirements. Search (by pressing ctrl & F) inside the framework PDF for the words 'educational need' and you'll see the parts that a nursey or other early years setting needs to have awareness of & comply with.
