Current policies include ECM - every child matters 2003, ECAT every child a talker, if in England you can also use this free places policy

Influences include theories and approaches

Evidence based practice is practice that's based on evidence. It means that what practioners do in their daily, weekly, monthly and yearly work has had prooven elements to it - concepts, ideas, theories and research considered to work best to underpin and secure positive outcomes.

If you have a level 3 handbook it'll support the research needed for these criteria, contact your tutor to see if they'll be visiting you in your setting to discuss them.
